Staff was great! Extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing that kept me from posting a five star rating is after the first 10 minutes of the dive, it started to get a little boring as there wasn't much sea life in there. I would recommend adding a few artifact for divers to find and/or look for, maybe a game on finding it or something. But just want to emphasize how awesome the staff was.

I found about this place about year ago. I saw some videos and I really wanted to visit this place. We had chance to do it on Thanksgiving day while we were traveling. It was rainy day , we were not sure how it will turn out , but we did it anyway. And it was awesome. I am sure it would be nicer if the sunlight will be coming in.

All the staff was friendly, very welcoming and helpful.

The water temperature is 72 degrees. Our kids like too. The snorkeling was fun and also seeing turtles and fishes.

In the 72°F water they have 2 turtles that must have wondered into the hole but now live there. They just hangout while you swim. The walkway down is for one at a time climbs, so be patient going up and down the stairs and watch your head as there are low clearance spots. The big bluegill that live in this spot aren't scared to come right up to you as you are diving and see what you're looking at too. It's as if they are expecting a treat. It was great. Very spooky to think how big the cavern gets down in the deep of it. You must come ready with a buddy, as I don't believe they let you dive alone. There are a few platforms in the water that make for small resting points and places you can look at all the fossils and bones in there from all the years and years of animals falling in there. It's said they have found bones from the era of mammoth, which is just extraordinary to think. I wonder definitely come back and enjoy this place again, as it was an amazing time. And I recommend anyone else who enjoys these kinds of things to come check it out too. Well worth the drive.

Unlike some reviews may lead you to believe, the staff was amazing. Everyone was friendly. If you go early enough, you'll be the only people there so go as close to open as you can. This place went viral and is a huge tourist attraction but the den isnt that big. They can only let so many people down at once so there will most likely be a wait. I would suggest calling ahead if you have you drive far to get there. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back again!

In this place it is a bit of a high admission fee in my opinion, but you get to enjoy a clean, nature of wonder. They have amenities such as picnic tables, gear tables for diving, bathrooms, and showers (with warm water!). What more can you ask for from a dive site? Haha. They have all the rental gear you need for snorkeling and diving as well (must be certified). I believe they also do dive lessons themselves too. They have a small "gift shop" area in the rental building. I wish there was more, but still it's quite nice.

horrible experience.. the smell alone was horrible! there were baby roaches in the kitchen area, we even found one in the bed upstairs Inside of the toilet was a mess. The beds felt like you were sleeping on steel- i was advised from the front office staff-they were suppose to be getting new beds. This was Cabin "D". We didn't even stay the entire weekend. We got there Friday about 9 pm and left Saturday morning about 9 am- enough time to complain to the front office when they opened. And might I add- I've never been to cabins where the inside is concrete- the cabins in Georgia are all wood..We invited friends and felt horrible because of what they experienced. The only appeasement was scuba diving passes(um, do it look like i scuba dive!) This place will not be recommended to our friends/family and this was a waste of money, gas and time. A very unhappy, unsatisfied customer. It would not let me post without picking a rating star- I didn't want to choose 1 star!

What an amazing place to experience. You have to come and see this wonder if you are a fan of nature, snorkeling, or diving! The environment is like no other place I've really been, and no other places are like it, save for a few rare places on this big blue planet.

We spent about hour and half in the water.

Will definitely do it again in the future, hopefully with better weather.
